My favourite piece of technology

The technology I like the most are swings, well, I guess they technically classify as a piece of technology, just a really ancient one. 

The swings, are a kind of structure, in which a piece of wood (metal, wood, plastic or sometimes a tire) is tied to a wooden or metal structure, in a way that it can be ridden by a person, and it allows the movement of the piece of wood (metal, plastic or tire) and the person, in an action that is known as swinging. 

Swinging can be done, in at least two ways: the first one, by the own means of the person doing the swinging, by changing their center of gravity by stretching and contracting their legs; the other one, by being helped by another person, so that they can push the back of the person being swinged, so that they can use that force to do the movement required.

I’m generally not the one being swinged, that role corresponds to my daughter, who really likes when we go to the park, every weekend, and always ask me so that I can push her, because she really likes speed, and she can’t handle herself to do such a fast swinging by her own. 

the greeks used the swings ti simulate the effect of drunkenness in the Dionysiac festivals, if there was  no swing, the world would be much more bored.
